Curaleaf Midtown: National Brand Puts Down Roots in Arizona

Curaleaf is a national brand known for pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products with 42 dispensaries across 12 states. Their recent expansion into Arizona brings five dispensary locations with it — a sixth is en route. The Place

The clean, well-lit dispensary’s hallways are decorated with paintings from local artists, framed photos of historical Phoenix from decades past and a unique series of images featuring patients whose lives have changed for the better thanks to the healing power of cannabis. Natural light floods the expansive product floor, and budtender faces gleam as they introduce patients to familiar brands and new products alike. As I wait my turn, my attention shifts to the large LED screens scrolling through Curaleaf’s many offerings, occasionally glancing at the well-positioned displays and glittering cases highlighting everything from accessories to packaged products and cannabis jewelry. Finally, it’s my turn.

The Product

Curaleaf offers a large variety of products — some of which they produce — including concentrates, edibles, topicals, tinctures and an assortment of flower staged in a four-tiered value system broken down by price point, featuring strains like Blue Dream, Superglue, Lemon Kush and more from choice brands such as Korova, aerīz and High Grade AZ. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with recognizable edible brands like Baked Bros, Haze & Main and Sublime. Settling on a concentrate, I debate my options. Lingering between brands like Canamo, DRIP, Item 9 Labs and more, I decide on a GG #4 cartridge from Curaleaf’s in-house line.
