It appears that even the red carpet is going green.
The DOPE Industry Awards, more commonly referred to as the DIAs, was held at Portland’s Pure Space over the weekend. With the biggest names in the Oregon cannabis industry dressed to the nines in honor of an industry that is still federally illegal, the evening was nothing short of a page out of a new age fairy tale.
Hosted by Kitty Kitty Bang Bang and featuring jam session intermissions from The Othership Connection, the event was a high-class affair. While there was no cannabis or alcohol served at the venue, there were a handful of weed party buses outside featuring copious amounts of dabs.
