DOPE Life | Mary Rand

Professional snowboarder Mary Rand traded the East Coast for the West Coast in what she calls one of the greatest decisions of her life thus far. At just 26 years old, Rand has been snowboarding since she was a kid; she began being noticed by sponsors as a teenager, and things “snowballed” from there — pun intended. She tells DOPE what a difference it makes no longer having to ride man-made snow, and describes the inclusive crew she’s found out in the Pacific Northwest, as well as what it’s like to film a movie with the Vans® crew.
