Infused Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

There’s a calm feeling of nostalgia that washes over me with hot chocolate. Warming up your hands nestled around a mug of luxurious liquid chocolate reminds me of childhood winters. This red velvet adult version using Pearl2o will give you the best warm fuzzies.

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 vanilla bean, split down the middle and scraped or 1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 Pearl2o minis

1/8 tsp. salt

3/4 cup honey

4 ounces 72 percent dark chocolate chips or broken up into pieces from a bar

1 tbsp. red food coloring

1 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder

1 tbsp. vanilla pudding mix

Heat milk, cream, vanilla bean seeds from the pod (or vanilla extract), Pearl2o, salt and honey into a small sauce pot and bring to a scald over medium-high heat. NOTE: Scald definition: (heat until a skin forms on the top, not boiling).

Whisk this mixture, and add in the chocolate, red food coloring, cocoa powder and pudding mix. Whisk until there are no lumps, and it’s frothy. Pour into two cups. Are you feeling Holidazed yet?

20 mg THC/CBD in total recipe (10mg per serving)
